A public Speaking Contest is held in February - March
each year and is open to all students in public and private schools.
Local contests are hosted by Lions Clubs to select contestants for
each Region. Winners of the Region compete at the District and
Multiple District contests.

The finalists of the
St.Thomas Lions Effective Speaking Contest on
February 2,2013, happily display their Certificates
of Achievement awarded to them for their excellent
presentations.
The top three finalists will
proceed to the District Finals in Chatham on March
24, 2013.
The St.Thomas Lions have
provided on opportunity for competitive
public speaking to the students of St.Thomas for
over ten years.
